Jo Mikleus has more than 26 years’ experience in all aspects of banking and business . She has an impressive track record of leading large, diverse, complex P&L businesses with an enduring positive impact. She was most recently the Head of Global Subsidiaries at ANZ and was responsible for the bank’s largest multi – national clients doing business in Australia. In addition to her executive role, she was a director on the Board of ANZ Bank (Vietnam) Ltd .
Prior to her last role, Jo was the Chief of Staff to the CEO , managing external matters including regulatory, investor, media , staff and customer relationships across 34 countries. She notably added to the B20’s Financing Growth taskforce , the Government’s F inancial S ervices I nquiry and Male Champions of Change. Internally, she was instrumental in the development of the CEO’s strategic priorities, the bank’s digital and social media strategy , as well as ANZ’s market – leading flexibility, diversity and inclusion policies. She travelled to Silicon Valley on two occasions with the Board to keep abreast of innovation and shape the Bank’s response to digital disruption.
She is on Committee for Melbourne’s “Melbourne 4.0” T askforce , helping Greater Melbourne prepare, act and embrace the accelerating speed of innovation and disruption. Also, s he is the Advisory Board Chairman for The Mentor List, Australia’s leading business and personal development podcast.
Jo has a Bachelor of Social Science (Economics) from UNSW and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
