Anthony J James (better know as AJ) is Managing Director and Chief Innovation Officer of Trinity Consulting Services (TCS), a consultancy working with large and small digital start-ups to go to market and succeed. Prior to TCS, AJ was Chief Innovation & Growth Officer, Asia Pacific for the advertising and marketing agency DDB. He was Group CEO of Sample Central (an innovative disruptive brand loyalty startup) and was also Executive VP and Chief Creative Officer of Creata, one of the world’s largest marketing loyalty and promotions agencies. AJ has also worked in management consulting and was Vice President of Marketing for Fujitsu Consulting. He is also considered to be one of the key executives responsible for building and launching the IBM e-business Solutions team globally.
With a career that spans nearly 25 years, AJ has lived and worked in 4 continents and has extensive experience across many industries including IT, FMCG, retail, automotive, banking and finance, sports media & entertainment and travel — all with a specific focus on innovative, consumer engagement and growth platforms.
